In 2000 Helen Miller started her fashion label SOOKii, the first range initially selling at the Fortitude Valley markets, quickly moving to wholesale production and distribution to stockists throughout Australia.
Four years later, the SOOKii store and studio opened in Highgate Hill, this milestone coincided with the label's shift in focus to individually-handmade garments and objects.
