HeySis handcrafts textiles intended to envelop the wearer in nature, or to enhance home decor.
Plant based dyes and prints are apparent in the unique colours, hues, shadows and patterns only found in nature. Crafted with natural fabrics including cotton, linen, hemp, wool and cruelty free silk and printed with environmentally sound dyes obtained from leaf and plant matter sourced on Magnetic Island and surrounds.
Elements from the earth are retained in every fibre of the fabric. HeySis refers to this as printing spirit of place, paying homage to Yunbenun (Magnetic Island) and to the traditional owners of the land.
