As a co-owner of a ceramics studio, Tang merges artistry with practical solutions, tackling each project as a creative problem solver. Over the past eight years, Tang has built a strong reputation for streamlining processes, solving operational challenges and developing products for the giftware market, featured in art galleries and boutique stores across Australia.

Shannon is an Australian ceramic artist, writer and curator with a studio practice spanning 20 years that includes commissions for festivals, exhibitions at public and private galleries and arts advocacy. Shannon began her creative life as a painter and this is evident in the intricate drawings that move across the surface of her thrown porcelain vessels. Shannon also works across a range of media using drawing, ceramics, photography and performance to investigate the relationship between human activity and the infinite variety of striations, spots and marks found in nature.

Ella's role developed from a series of internships in artisan's retail space. Guided by a deep commitment to Queensland’s design and craft community, Ella is a graduate from the Queensland College of Art with a specialisation in jewellery and small objects. As artisan’s Creative Assistant, Ella now channels her dedication into uplifting local makers, through supporting the development of opportunities where Queensland’s creatives can truly flourish.

Anna is a Curatorial Assistant at artisan. She studied at Central Saint Martins in London and has a strong interest in contemporary craft and material culture.
In her role she contributes to exhibition development, artist research and the delivery of creative programs, supporting projects that connect artists, objects and audiences.
