Created by designer Mark Harrison, Husque bowls are made from recycled macadamia nutshell, hand-rubbed with macadamia oil, and a polished polyester interior. Marc’s inspiration came from the fond childhood experience of opening macadamia nuts.

Husque designs are influenced by the contours of broken macadamia shell, the faceted edges are proportionally like the natural thickness of the shell. The polished coloured interior is reminiscent of the thin protective lining on the inside of the shell.

‘Husque’ pays homage to the nut’s origins: derived from the word ‘husk’, the ‘k’ is replaced with ‘que’ to include the first three letters of Queensland.
