Exhibition:

As part of an exciting suite of First Nations exhibitions at artisan, CAIA Collective presents their inaugural exhibition, showcasing contemporary Indigenous craft and design. This newly formed collective, comprising  students from QCAD's Contemporary Australian Indigenous Art program, brings together emerging voices in the field. Through professional development guidance, these emerging artists explore narratives and creative vision through various mediums and approaches. The exhibition represents not only the next generation of Indigenous designers and makers but also demonstrates the vital importance of supporting and nurturing emerging First Nations creative practices. This exhibition runs alongside exhibitions in artisan's Main and Small Object's galleries as part of artisan's commitment to celebrating and elevating Indigenous voices in contemporary craft and design.
