We are looking for a part-time Curator who can join us on the next phase of our journey as an organisation. We believe that visual arts, craft and design enriches our lives and we are looking for someone with exceptional curatorial skills to help us generate new conversations in this space.
artisan is a highly regarded and innovative organisation, dedicated to supporting and promoting contemporary craft and design practice for both makers and their audiences. artisan began its legacy in 1970 and has, for almost 50 years, been the home of craft and design in Queensland.

artisan is seeking a proven and enthusiastic part-time Curator to develop and deliver a curatorial program of prominence. This is an exceptional career opportunity for an experienced Curator to lead the planning and implementation of artisan’s exhibitions.
The successful candidate will report to the CEO and demonstrate curatorial expertise and innovation in the delivery of quality visual arts, craft and design exhibitions. A comprehensive knowledge of and passion for the visual arts, craft and design sector is a must. Along with strong communication and organisational skills, the successful candidate will need to embrace a collaborative and hands-on working environment. A robust network within the arts sector will be essential.
