Ross Purdon

Ross Purdon is a Brisbane-based woodworker who specialises in designing and constructing wooden boxes. He’s had a lifelong interest in timber and woodwork, and an appreciation of form and function.
Ross works with predominantly Australian native timbers, with an emphasis on those from Queensland and Tasmania, using species such as Silky Oak, Queensland Maple, Huon Pine, Tiger Myrtle and Blackwood.
Each of his pieces is unique and handcrafted with a high degree of precision to best reveal the colour and grain of the various source timbers.
