Oak and Hide was born from Ben McGreevy’s passion for inventing and creating. From a young age Ben has worked with his hands, tested countless ideas and inventions, with his underlying concept for many of his projects being sustainability and simplicity. After honing some of his woodworking skills under the guidance of local furniture makers, Ben has channelled his work towards designing and manufacturing timber homewares and furniture with a focus on clean simple lines. Oak and Hide strives to source all materials locally and sustainably and particularly enjoys showcasing a diverse range of native Aussie timbers.
