Joanne Braddy

Joanne Braddy

Machinery Street Gallery

2 October – 12 November 2021

This exhibition will be the third selected from the expressions of interest from our community of makers. Artisan requested practitioners respond to our call out for several exhibition opportunities in 2021 for both the Machinery St Gallery and Small Object Space.

Joanne Braddy is currently selling work though artisan’s retail outlet. As an emerging Brisbane artist, Braddy’s paintings and ceramic works are more than just beautifully dark and confronting imagery. They are also deeply personal story pieces, each one telling a story featuring in the artist’s long battle in living with mental illness. Braddy will work with her mentor and artisan to realise an installation of 2d and 3d work in Machinery St.
