Seinileva Huakau is a ceramicist and a weaver of Tongan descent, who grew up in Western Sydney and is based in regional Queensland. Her practice is driven by strong connections with traditional materials, stories and customs. Huakau started to work with textiles through WeAve Parramatta, an intercultural group that connects diverse individuals through textile art.
