Libby Harward is a Ngugi woman of the Quandamooka People from Mulgumpin (Moreton Island), whose arts practice spans over two decades. Beginning in community, street, and graffiti art, her recent work has evolved into a deeply conceptual, decolonial practice across sound, video, installation, and performance. Harward’s conceptual practice also informs her creations in ceramics and textiles, shaping unique products such as cushions, blankets, T-shirts, jewellery, and vases. Listening to and calling out to Country, she re-maps and re-contextualises place, exploring sovereignty and resistance. Exhibiting nationally and internationally, Harward’s work contributes powerfully to decolonising cultural landscapes and amplifying First Nations voices.
