Brisbane Residency 2025
Regional Queensland Artist
This unique opportunity is available for regional Queensland craft and design practitioner to travel to Brisbane and undertake a residency. All craft and design practitioners based in Queensland are eligible to apply.
With the support of Arts Queensland, this exciting opportunity is designed to expand artists' expertise, professional networks and knowledge, while supporting the creation and exhibition of new works.
WHAT'S INCLUDED
- Total package includes residency and exhibition
- Up to 6 week residency in Brisbane
- Accommodation in Brisbane
- Studio space
- $3,500 Artist fee (to cover materials, daily expenses, etc.)
- Return Flights/travel from regional Queensland to Brisbane
- Photographic documentation during the residency and exhibition
- Exhibition at artisan
- Mentorship and career development
- Vocational training
HOW TO APPLY

- Fill out the submission form
- Upload your exhibition proposal to the submission form
KEY DATES
- 2 December 2024 – 14 February 2025 | Open for submissions
- 21 February 2025 | Applicants advised of outcomes
- 4-6 weeks between 14 July - 31 August 2025 | Residency
- 1 November 2024 – 1 March 2026 | artisan exhibition
