Jam Factory 2025
Established Queensland Artist Residency
For our second established artist residency, artisan have partnered with JamFactory. This unique opportunity is available for a mid-career or established Queensland furniture designer, designed to promote mastery, expand professional networks and knowledge, while supporting the creation and exhibition of new works.
With the support of Arts Queensland, the body of work produced will be exhibited at artisan with the possibility of touring.
WHAT'S INCLUDED
- 4-6 week residency
- Accommodation
- Studio space
- Artist fee (to cover daily expenses)
- Return Flights/travel from Queensland to the residency
- Documentation during the residency and exhibition
- Exhibition at artisan and related events
HOW TO APPLY
- Read through the terms and conditions
- Fill out the submission form
- Upload your exhibition proposal to the submission form
KEY DATES
- 2 December 2024 – 14 February 2025 | Open for submissions
- 21 February 2025 | Applicants advised of outcomes
- 4-6 weeks between July - August 2025 | Residency
- 1 November 2024 – 1 March 2026 | artisan exhibition
