Edith Rewa is an Australian based Illustrator and Textile Designer. Edith works with pencil, black pen, inks, watercolour, and Photoshop to create the silk scarves that she describes as, “illustrated learnings of Australian native flora, translated onto wearable silk museums.” Her studio is filled with plants, books, drawings, paintings, and items that visually inspire her.
Edith studied a Bachelor of Arts (Textile Design) (screen-printing major) at RMIT, Melbourne with a brief sojourn to the Estonian Academy of the Arts. Edith is now based in Brisbane.
“I work to share and encourage a reverence in Australia’s natural landscapes and native flora.” Edith Rewa
