This is a hand forged carbon steel chef knife, designed with a very fine cutting edge and snub nose that specialises in accurately slicing through hard root vegetables. The handle is beefwood, grown in western Queensland, which has a hammered finish and is lightly charred at one end just for fun. The sheath is salvaged cypress pine, which previously spent the last 80 years as a stud in a local home.
