Céline Caron

Céline Caron (b. 1989, Brussels) credits her parents with nurturing her early fascination with design and objects. Immersed in art from a young age, she developed an intuitive sensitivity to form, material, and detail. Trained in interior and industrial design in Brussels and Brisbane, she brings over thirteen years of professional experience to her practice, evolving from Interior Design into design leadership within an international hotel group, overseeing projects across Australasia.

Drawn to the quiet alchemy of glazes and the slow transformations of clay, her approach is deliberately unconventional. Céline combines clay bodies with raw materials and pigments, moving away from traditional ceramic methods in favour of process-led exploration. Through this, her work has developed a language distinctly her own, shaped by surface, texture, and form.

Her works brings together soft organic forms inspired by the human body against rough and at times synthetic-appearing textures, with fire as a collaborator ensuring no two pieces are ever alike — inviting viewers into a whimsical, contemplative journey suspended between the earthbound and the imagination.
