This is a hand forged carbon steel chef knife, designed with a very fine cutting edge and snub nose that specialises in accurately slicing through hard root vegetables. The handle is local macadamia, grown in Maleny Queensland, which has a polished finish and bronze bolster, cash in house from a mixture of recycled brass and copper. The sheath is salvaged cypress pine, which previously spent the last 80 years as a stud in a local home.
