Ari Athans is a highly esteemed contemporary jeweller. From her studio in West End, Ari creates bespoke pieces as well as an evolving range of contemporary jewels.

Ari has established herself as one of Brisbane’s most well-respected craft and design practitioners, having launched her gallery workshop in 2004 after twelve years of exhibiting and selling her jewellery nationally and internationally. She has maintained a material-specific crafts practice, producing unique one-off pieces in the face of offshore manufacture.

Ari’s jewellery has appeared in solo and major group shows in Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Edinburgh, London, Munich, Singapore, and Tokyo and most notably ‘Australian Freestyle’ at Triennale Museum in Milan. Her work is held in public and private collections.
