The work demonstrates innovation using vessels (historically referencing function) that vary in clay body, size, application of texture, glaze and firing atmosphere. Figurative abstractions of memories, vessel surfaces are deliberately altered with a 'shroud' made from clay, glaze, and non traditional materials including natural beeswax.
