Cochrane's practice as an independent artist began with surrealist painting, which formed thematic foundations for her practice exploring mythology and folklore. Her work has since transitioned into the three-dimensional realm, amalgamating her extensive textile expertise from her fashion background with ceramic and sculptural interest. \u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eCochrane is now an established contemporary mixed-media artist, who is known for her chimera-like work which represent both the creative and destructive, hidden forces hidden within us.
