About the workshop:

With artisan you can come together with our online maker community to make a clay bowl and matching plate under the expert tutelage of a master ceramicist. You're welcome to participate with friends or on your own. If you have undertaken one of Cary's workshops before, you can create this set to match you previous creations!

This workshop for complete beginners or established clay lovers . Carys Martin will help and support you through the creation of a bowl and plate. If needed, you will be sent an 'At Home Clay Pack' which will include the clay and basic tools you need to create your making project. You will be shown through the steps to create your piece and you can personalise your bowl and plate set along the way. If you are local to Brisbane your piece can be fired and glazed at Carys' studio. If you are based out of Brisbane, you can organise to fire your piece at a community studio or joy can be found in the creation and then the piece can be put in the garden for nature to return the clay to the Earth.

Upon ticket purchase, a complete, easy to follow guide to how to join this Zoom workshop will be emailed to you. You do not need a Zoom account to participate. If you wish not to be seen, you are more than welcome to join without video.
