Saturday, 11 May
Time: 12:30 - 1:30PM
Where: Artisan, Corner of King Street and Machinery Street, Bowen Hills
Carol Taylor, exhibiting designer and winner of the Access Achievement Award for 2018, joins us in conversation to discuss her design practice. Carol’s life was changed in 2001 when a horrific accident left her with quadriplegia. In the years since Carol’s achievements have been outstanding by any measure, she has become a mother and returned to work establishing her own law practice.
In addition to this, Carol’s experience inspired her to develop a range of ‘wheelchair accessible’ fashion for market testing and ultimately a new business venture. Items from this collection are featured in Agency by Design, join us at this event to learn about Carol’s project and future aspirations for her fascinating work.
RSVP - all welcome.
