The gallery artisan outdoor stage at BIG SOUND 2010

Artisan is proud to again be partnering with QMusic, Queensland's music industry development association, on BIG SOUND 2010, an urban music festival held in the heart of Fortitude Valley. BIG SOUND, one of Australia's most internationally focused music conferences, produces three days of panels, workshops and artist showcases for local, national and international music industry representatives.

Following on from the enormous success of last year’s showcase held in our car park, artisan will again be providing an outdoor venue for BIG SOUND 2010 – The artisan Gallery Stage.

For this year’s line-up at the stage, and for more information on BIG SOUND 2010, please visit the dedicated page on our website.

BIG SOUND 2010 runs from September 8 -10 2010.

As part of our partnership with QMusic, artisan presents an exhibition celebrating the cross-over of design and music to coincide with Big Sound. Taken By Storm: The Album of Art of Storm Thorgerson was our inaugural exhibition in 2009, and Rolling Stone: The Covers 1972-2010 is the second, and sets yet another Australian benchmark for presenting groundbreaking design exhibitions.

Rolling Stone: The Covers 1972-2010 will be opened at artisan by Matt Coyte, Editor-in-Chief Rolling Stone on Thursday, September 2 2010, 6pm – 8pm.

The exhibition will continue through BIG SOUND 2010 until October 2 2010.
